OHIO — Ohio recorded its first snowplow-related crash of the season less than a month into winter weather, state transportation officials said.
The crash occurred Friday, Nov. 28, in Cuyahoga County, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation. No injuries were reported.
In a Monday, Dec. 1, social media post, the department reminded drivers to use caution around plows. “If keeping our drivers safe and our trucks up and running is not enough motivation to give us room, then just remember: you will always lose against a snowplow,” the agency wrote.
More snow is expected to impact the Tuesday morning commute. Winter weather advisories go into effect Monday night, with several inches of snow forecast across much of the state. Forecasters say the heaviest snowfall is likely during the early morning hours Tuesday.
