
SOUTH CAROLINA — A routine traffic stop Saturday night in Port Royal resulted in the seizure of multiple drugs and a firearm.
At approximately 11:53 p.m., Port Royal Police officers stopped a vehicle on Savannah Highway for a minor traffic violation.
During the stop, officers found 21 doses of MDMA, 10.6 grams of crack cocaine, 213 grams of marijuana, three doses of Xanax, and a firearm.
The 28-year-old Ridgeland driver was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, trafficking cocaine base, and possession with intent to distribute both a Schedule I and Schedule IV controlled substance.
