Thousands currently without power in Michigan

MICHIGAN — A little under 6,000 Michigan residents were without power Sunday morning, according to the latest statewide outage data.

As of the most recent update, 5,871 customers were reported without electricity out of more than 5 million tracked across the state.

Macomb County recorded the highest number of outages, with 1,223 customers affected. Wayne County followed with 919 outages, while St. Clair County reported 760. Additional impacts were noted in Alcona (409), Crawford (313), Oakland (275), Alpena (268), and Leelanau (220) counties.

Utility crews across the state continue working to restore power to affected areas. Further updates are expected as restoration efforts progress.
