GEORGIA — Authorities are investigating a homicide after a 19-year-old man was found shot to death early Saturday morning in Albany.
Albany Police responded to the 300 block of Carriage Lane around 7 a.m. on Nov. 29. When officers arrived, they found the victim, identified by Dougherty County Coroner Michael Fowler as Jabion Jackson, lying outside with a gunshot wound. Police said Jackson had already died from his injuries.
The Albany Police Department is continuing to investigate the shooting. Officials said additional information will be released as it becomes available.
