SOUTH CAROLINA — Multiple people were hospitalized Friday after a two-vehicle crash in the Hannah community that left victims trapped inside their vehicles, according to Florence County Fire Rescue.
The crash occurred in the 200 block of East U.S. Highway 378. Emergency units were dispatched around 3:20 p.m.
Fire officials said several patients suffered “serious injuries,” and the crash involved entrapment. Florence County Emergency Medical Services and the Pamplico Rescue Squad provided treatment at the scene before transporting all patients to a nearby hospital.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
