FLORIDA — Largo police are searching for an 83-year-old man with dementia who went missing Thursday night.
John W. Harrison was last seen at 11 p.m. at his home on 1100 Belcher Road South.
He left in a 2003 white GMC Envoy SUV with a Florida veteran’s license plate reading SND0M.
The vehicle was later spotted just before 8 a.m. in Clearwater at the intersection of Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard and Lake Drive South. Harrison has dementia and diabetes, and police say he may be in possession of a handgun.
Anyone with information about Harrison or his vehicle is urged to contact Largo police.
