PENNSYLVANIA — Authorities are investigating after a woman was found stabbed to death inside a Westmoreland County apartment early Sunday.
The Westmoreland County District Attorney’s Office said 59-year-old Pamela Puskar was discovered around 7 a.m. inside the Loyalhanna Apartments on Jefferson Street in Latrobe. Her death has been ruled a homicide.
Westmoreland County detectives and Latrobe police are reviewing evidence and gathering surveillance footage as part of the investigation. The district attorney’s office released two surveillance images of a person of interest.
Anyone who may have seen the individual on residential or business surveillance cameras after 7 a.m. Saturday is asked to contact the Westmoreland County Detective Bureau at 724-830-3287 or the Latrobe Police Department at 724-537-5526.
Investigators said they know the identity of the person of interest. A spokesperson for the district attorney’s office said the images were released so residents can check their cameras “to see if they have him on video, to track his way of travel.”
