Campbell later turned himself in to the Bristol, Virginia Police Department and remains in Virginia awaiting extradition to Tennessee.

Campbell faces multiple charges, including two counts of first-degree murder, one count of attempted first-degree murder, aggravated assault, especially aggravated burglary, tampering with evidence, and reckless endangerment into a habitation. Authorities said he is the sole suspect, and no others are being sought.
