
OHIO — A 26-year-old corrections officer at the Hamilton County Justice Center was arrested this week and charged with assault after reportedly hitting an inmate with his belt.
Jordan Anderson allegedly removed his county-issued uniform belt while on duty and struck an inmate twice in the lower back and buttock area, according to court documents.
Anderson reportedly admitted to the incident during an interview with detectives.
He was arrested and booked into the Hamilton County Justice Center, with bond set at $1,000 on Friday.
