OHIO — A woman died and two others were hospitalized following a head-on collision Tuesday night in Colerain Township, authorities said.
The crash occurred around 7:30 p.m. in the 10300 block of Pippin Road. Police identified the deceased as 70-year-old Barbara Wooten of Cincinnati. She was taken to Mercy West Hospital, where she later died.
Two additional people, whose identities have not been released, were transported to area hospitals. Officials have not provided updates on their conditions.
Police did not disclose what types of vehicles were involved or what caused the crash. The Colerain Township Police Department’s Traffic Safety Unit is investigating.
