Police searching for theft and burglary suspect in Georgia

GEORGIA — The Coffee County Sheriff’s Office is asking residents for assistance in locating a man wanted in connection with multiple auto thefts and burglaries in the area.

Authorities identified the suspect as 35-year-old James Dustin Cribbs, who has reportedly been on the run for nearly two weeks. Deputies from the Criminal Investigations Division (CID), the Douglas-Coffee Drug Unit (DCDU), and the DICE Unit are actively searching for him.

The sheriff’s office has released a wanted flyer with Cribbs’ age and physical description and is urging anyone with information to come forward. Tips can be submitted anonymously via the sheriff’s office mobile app or by calling CCSO Detectives at 912-384-4227.

Deputies are reminding the community to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activity or potential sightings as the search continues.
