GEORGIA — The Savannah Police Department is investigating a Thursday evening shooting that left a juvenile male with serious injuries.
Police said the shooting occurred near Pennsylvania Avenue and Greenwood Street.
Officers responded around 8:30 p.m. after a ShotSpotter alert indicated gunfire in the area.
When officers arrived, they found a juvenile male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Officers provided first aid before the victim was taken to a local hospital for further treatment.
