OHIO — Cincinnati Police District Three are asking for the public’s help in locating Barron Mitchell, who is wanted in connection with an assault and strangulation incident that occurred on November 5, 2025.
Police said the 27-year-old suspect, during a verbal altercation, punched the victim in the mouth, causing visible injuries, and then choked the individual, making it difficult for them to breathe. Mitchell is charged with felony strangulation and misdemeanor assault.
Authorities describe Mitchell as a Black male, 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing approximately 189 pounds. He has a prior history of domestic violence and obstructing official business. Mitchell was last known to reside on Ross Avenue in Westwood.
Anyone with information on Mitchell’s whereabouts is urged to contact Cincinnati Police or Crime Stoppers immediately.
