One person arrested following drug bust in Kentucky

KENTUCKY — A Scottsville woman was arrested Tuesday after law enforcement officials discovered a large quantity of suspected methamphetamine and other drugs at her home, authorities said.

Members of the South Central Kentucky Drug Task Force, Warren County Drug Task Force, and Kentucky State Police executed an arrest warrant at the residence of 39-year-old Megan T. Sequeira, located at 529 Old Port Oliver Road.

During the search, detectives reportedly seized 144 grams of suspected methamphetamine, other narcotics, marijuana, U.S. currency, and items consistent with drug trafficking.

Sequeira was taken into custody and lodged in the Allen County Detention Center. In addition to the outstanding warrant, she faces multiple charges, including:

  • Trafficking in a controlled substance, 1st degree (methamphetamine)
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree
  • Persistent felony offender
  • Possession of marijuana

Authorities said the investigation is ongoing.
