One person arrested for dealing drugs in Kentucky

KENTUCKY — A Middlesboro woman was arrested after police say a search warrant led to the discovery of a large quantity of prescription pills and cash believed to be connected to illegal drug sales.

According to the Middlesboro Police Department, the arrest took place on November 12 at a home located at 136 North 10th Street, behind Food City. Officers executed the search warrant following several complaints from residents about increased activity at the property.

Investigators said they conducted multiple controlled drug purchases before obtaining the warrant. During the search, officers found approximately 1,000 prescription pills and a significant amount of cash.

Police arrested Dianna Loveday and charged her with:

  • Two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance, 1st degree
  • One count of trafficking in a controlled substance, 2nd degree
  • One count of trafficking in a controlled substance, 3rd degree

Loveday was taken to the Bell County Detention Center. The investigation remains ongoing.
