
SOUTH CAROLINA — A pedestrian was killed early Thursday morning after being struck by a motorcycle on Highway 81 South, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred around 1:45 a.m. near Flat Rock Road. Troopers said a Harley-Davidson motorcycle was traveling along Highway 81 South when it hit a pedestrian who was in the roadway.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital but later died from their injuries. The motorcyclist was also transported to the hospital for treatment.
The name of the pedestrian has not yet been released as the investigation continues.
