SOUTH CAROLINA — A single-vehicle crash that caused a car to overturn led to traffic delays on North Kings Highway Wednesday morning, according to Horry County Fire Rescue (HCFR).
HCFR crews were dispatched to the scene just before 8:30 a.m. and performed extrication operations to free individuals trapped inside the vehicle.
One person was taken to a hospital with injuries. Authorities advise motorists to avoid the area of North Kings Highway and Middle Gate Road, as several lanes are blocked during the response.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash with assistance from North Myrtle Beach Fire Rescue.
