MICHIGAN — Authorities are searching for a 17-year-old girl from Oakland County who may have traveled to West Michigan, the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office said.
Janella Arlene Nicholas was last seen getting off the school bus around 3 p.m. Friday and did not return home. Investigators believe she got into an older Jeep Cherokee with an unknown person.
Nicholas is 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs about 135 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt. Nicholas is a senior at Rochester Community Schools’ Alternative Center for Education.
