
PENNSYLVANIA — Lancaster police are investigating a dog attack that occurred early Friday morning in the 400 block of Beaver Street. The incident was reported around 5:15 a.m. on Nov. 7.
According to authorities, two people, including a child, were bitten by the dog.
A third person was reportedly chased by the animal. The child was transported to a local hospital, though the extent of their injuries has not been released.
Police said they used non-lethal force to safely secure the dog, which was then returned to its owner. Officials have not identified the dog’s breed.
The Lancaster City Bureau of Police said the investigation remains ongoing as they gather more details about the attack.
