OHIO — The Beavercreek Police Department is urging residents to lock their vehicles after several reports of break-ins early Monday morning.

Police released video footage showing two individuals attempting to enter vehicles parked in a residential driveway in the southern area of the city.

Authorities say multiple unlocked vehicles between East Patterson Road and Shakertown Road were entered during the incidents.

Officials are reminding residents to take precautions to reduce the risk of theft. “We want to remind everyone to remove valuables and lock your vehicle, even when parked in your driveway,” the department said in a statement.
