FLORIDA — A 21-year-old Brandon man died following a multi-vehicle crash Saturday evening, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred after 6:30 p.m. on Blanton Road in Dade City.
Troopers said the Brandon man was driving eastbound when he failed to properly navigate a curve, causing his vehicle to cross into the westbound lanes and collide nearly head-on with a 28-year-old man from Zephyrhills.
Debris from the crash also struck a 26-year-old woman from Brooksville, who was driving behind the Zephyrhills man. The two men were taken to local hospitals with serious injuries, and the Brandon man later died while in care. The woman was not injured.
Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
