SOUTH CAROLINA — A Greenville County man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing that took place late Saturday night, according to the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the Motel 6 on Impact Drive shortly after 11:15 p.m. Investigators say 46-year-old Garcia Zenas Wilson stabbed another person during a fight inside one of the motel rooms.
The victim was taken to the hospital, where they remained under treatment Sunday morning. Their condition has not been released.
Wilson was arrested and charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, as well as possession of a weapon during a violent crime. He was transported to the Greenville County Detention Center and is awaiting a bond hearing.
The incident remains under investigation.
