OHIO — Butler County authorities seized over $10,000, four pounds of suspected methamphetamine, 1.6 grams of suspected fentanyl, and about 70 pressed pills during a Thursday morning operation.

According to Sheriff Richard K. Jones, the Butler County Undercover Regional Narcotics Task Force (B.U.R.N.) and the Hamilton Police Department executed a search warrant on Bryant Lane around 9 a.m.

A 38-year-old man was arrested and faces charges for possession of methamphetamine, a second-degree felony. Authorities also issued a warrant for a 40-year-old man on a first-degree felony charge for possession of drugs.

Officials said the seizure is part of an ongoing investigation and additional charges may be forthcoming. The B.U.R.N. Task Force said it remains committed to removing drugs from the community and holding dealers accountable.
