
NORTH CAROLINA — The Carteret County Sheriff’s Office has arrested six more individuals in the second phase of Operation Find Out, an ongoing initiative targeting illegal drug sales and distribution.
The latest arrests bring the total number of people taken into custody to 24 as authorities continue efforts to combat narcotics activity in the county.
The individuals arrested and their charges include:
- Haylei Brown – Bond set at $61,750. Charged with multiple counts involving MDMA, methamphetamine, and fentanyl, including possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver, as well as manufacturing controlled substances.
- Russell Parker – Bond set at $40,000. Charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver methamphetamine, along with selling, delivering, and manufacturing methamphetamine.
- William Bell Jr. – Bond set at $50,000. Charged with multiple counts related to methamphetamine, including possession with intent to sell, delivering, and manufacturing.
- Marlee Aguon – Bond set at $40,000. Charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver methamphetamine and fentanyl.
- Homer Blackburn – Bond set at $30,000. Charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver methamphetamine, conspiracy to sell and deliver methamphetamine, and misdemeanor child abuse.
- Candice Mitchell – Bond set at $30,000. Charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver Adderall, selling and delivering Adderall, and manufacturing Adderall.
Sheriff’s officials say Operation Find Out remains ongoing as investigators work to identify and apprehend others contributing to the spread of illegal drugs in Carteret County.
