
VIRGINIA — A 24-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a break-in at Vape and More on Monroe Avenue in Covington.
According to the Covington Police Division, officers responded to the store around 8:16 a.m. on October 23, 2025, after receiving a report of a shattered front door.
Surveillance footage showed a suspect throwing a rock through the glass door around 2:00 a.m. before entering the store and taking approximately $800 worth of merchandise.
Following an investigation and review of surveillance video, police identified and arrested Issac Kimberlin on October 31. Kimberlin was charged with entering a dwelling with intent to commit larceny. Police said the charge carries a possible sentence of up to 20 years in prison and a $2,500 fine.
Police Chief Smith said the arrest highlights the department’s partnership with the city’s Police Division and its ongoing efforts to combat crime.
