OHIO — Cincinnati Police District Three investigators are asking for the public’s help in locating Lavira Sweeten, who is wanted in connection with a robbery and misdemeanor theft.
Authorities said Sweeten, 31, allegedly placed property from a Family Dollar store into a garbage can and attempted to leave without paying. When confronted by store employees, she reportedly threatened them with mace.
Sweeten is described as a Black female, 5 feet tall, weighing 165 pounds. She has a criminal history including theft and falsification. Her last known address was on Vine Street in the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood.
She has been wanted since November 4, 2025. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to contact Greater Cincinnati Crime Stoppers.
