NORTH CAROLINA — A person was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Kilborne Drive and Eastway Drive in east Charlotte.
The area is primarily residential with some local businesses, though Eastway Drive is known to carry heavy traffic.
The pedestrian was transported to a hospital with serious injuries, according to Medic emergency services.
Authorities are investigating the crash.
