Officers responded to a report of a pedestrian accident at the intersection of Preston Highway and Tower Road at approximately 6:10 a.m., according to LMPD spokesman Aaron Ellis.
Police said the victim, who was wearing all dark clothing, was attempting to cross the southbound lanes when he was hit.
