OHIO — A person was killed in a crash involving a semitruck late Thursday afternoon in southeastern Franklin County.
The collision occurred shortly after 5:45 p.m. at the intersection of London Groveport Road and Port Road in Madison Township, according to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
A 911 caller reported that the crash involved a semitruck and a black SUV, and that the SUV sustained heavy damage. The victim had to be extricated from the vehicle.
Authorities have not released the identity of the victim, and no further details were immediately available. The crash remains under investigation.
