
OHIO — One person was killed in a crash near northeast Columbus on Wednesday night, according to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash occurred around 10:35 p.m. in the 2400 block of Reynoldsburg New Albany Road in Jefferson Township.
Deputies said the driver of a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu was traveling south when the vehicle went off the west side of the road, went through a ditch, hit a driveway embankment, and then rolled over onto its roof.
The driver was taken to Mount Carmel East hospital in critical condition and was pronounced dead at 11:02 p.m. The sheriff’s office has not released the victim’s identity.
The crash remains under investigation.
