GEORGIA — Police are searching for a group of men accused of attacking and robbing a man near a southwest Atlanta gas station earlier this summer.
Officers were called just after midnight on June 13 to the Texaco station at 2716 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive SW for a reported strong-arm robbery. The victim told police that about five men surrounded him after he got off a bus near the station and began assaulting him.
According to investigators, the suspects attempted to take the victim’s phone but were unsuccessful. However, they did steal his phone charger before fleeing the scene.
Police have released photos of two of the suspects in hopes the public can help identify them. The investigation remains ongoing.
