TENNESSEE — A 76-year-old man was arrested Tuesday after allegedly shooting a woman in the foot, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded just after 11 p.m. to the 500 block of Roack House Road regarding a shooting that had occurred around 9 p.m.
Officials said the victim told them that Tony L. Slagle shot her in the left foot while at a residence on Bill Bennett Road and fired additional rounds that missed as she left the home.
Slagle reportedly admitted to shooting the woman and firing multiple rounds. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Slagle was taken into custody and booked at the Washington County Detention Center. As of Wednesday, he was being held on a $75,000 bond.
