
OHIO — One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Wednesday in Chester Township, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash happened just before 2:30 a.m. on Center Road. A car traveling east went off the side of the roadway and struck a tree.
Investigators identified the driver as 22-year-old Benjamin Stearns of Centerville. He died at the scene.
According to OSHP, Stearns was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
