KENTUCKY — Kentucky State Police are asking for the public’s help in locating an 11-year-old girl who went missing Monday evening.

Troopers said Addelyn Thornsberry was last seen around 5:45 p.m. near her home. Her mother reported being unable to track her through the Life360 app on her phone. Addelyn was wearing a pink shirt, blue pants, and white tennis shoes.

Officers worked with Robertson County Emergency Management to search the area, and KSP aircraft assisted as darkness fell and temperatures dropped.

Authorities later learned that Addelyn had posted a video earlier in the day stating she planned to run away. Despite continued overnight searches, she has not been located and is now listed as a missing person in the National Crime Information Center.

Anyone with information on Addelyn’s whereabouts is asked to call KSP Post 6 in Dry Ridge at (859) 428-1212 or contact local law enforcement.
