
FLORIDA — A 6-year-old child was killed Tuesday morning after being struck by a vehicle along with their mother and sibling, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash occurred just after 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Mohr Road and Sheldon Road.
Deputies arriving at the scene found a woman and her two children injured and began rendering aid while waiting for emergency responders.
The 6-year-old child died shortly after the crash. The mother and the other child were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle was also transported to a hospital.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
