OHIO — A 22-year-old woman was killed and two others were injured in a two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon in Jefferson Township, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said the crash happened around 3 p.m. near the intersection of Derby Road and South Union Road.
One vehicle was traveling eastbound and the other westbound when they collided near the unmarked center point of the roadway.
The 22-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle was taken to Miami Valley Hospital, and a passenger was transported to Dayton Children’s Hospital, both with minor injuries.
The roadway was closed for several hours while investigators processed the scene.
