
SOUTH CAROLINA — One person was killed Monday morning in a shooting at a business in Dillon, according to Police Chief David Lane.
The shooting happened just before 8 a.m. at the 24 Hour Spot on Highway 301 South. Lane said the victim was taken to a hospital, where they later died.
Investigators have identified a person of interest in the case, though no further details have been released. The victim’s name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
