FLORIDA — Tampa police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred Sunday morning on Fowler Avenue.
The incident happened in the 2800 block of Fowler Avenue, between 22nd Street and 30th Street. Officers responded around 9:20 a.m. and found a man deceased at the scene. Despite life-saving efforts, the victim succumbed to his injuries, authorities said.
Westbound traffic on Fowler Avenue in the area is closed, and only one eastbound lane remains open.
Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes.
The Tampa Police Department has not released further details on the circumstances of the crash or the identity of the victim.
