OHIO — One person is dead following a stabbing early Sunday morning in the University District, according to the Columbus Division of Police.
Officers responded to the 1700 block of North High Street around 1:48 a.m. after receiving reports of a stabbing. When they arrived, they found a victim suffering from a stab wound.
The individual was transported to The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, where they later died from their injuries, a Columbus public safety dispatcher said.
No information about a suspect or what led to the stabbing has been released. The investigation remains ongoing.
