OHIO — At least one person was killed in a crash on southbound Interstate 75 early Saturday morning, according to the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Center.
Emergency crews were dispatched around 3:49 a.m. to the area of I-75 South near Salem Avenue on reports of a crash with injuries. A dispatch sergeant said that at least one occupant was trapped in the vehicle when first responders arrived.
It remains unclear how many people were inside the vehicle at the time of the crash. The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office confirmed it was called to the scene.
All lanes of I-75 South at Third Street near Salem Avenue were closed for several hours as crews worked the scene but have since reopened. The crash remains under investigation.
