
OHIO — Cincinnati Police District Three is actively searching for James Rachel, wanted in connection with a series of violent crimes, according to Greater Cincinnati Crime Stoppers.
Rachel, a 26-year-old Black male, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and 155 pounds, is wanted for robbery, felony strangulation, four counts of misdemeanor domestic violence, misdemeanor aggravated menacing, two counts of misdemeanor assault, and misdemeanor obstructing official business.
Authorities said the incident occurred on October 28, 2025, during a domestic dispute. Rachel reportedly stole the victim’s cell phone, struck the victim in the face with a closed fist, and choked the victim, causing them to lose consciousness.
Rachel has a criminal history including breaking and entering and drug abuse and was last known to live on Elam Street in Camp Washington.
Police are urging anyone with information on Rachel’s whereabouts to contact Cincinnati Police or Crime Stoppers. He should not be approached, as authorities consider him potentially dangerous.
