One person electrocuted while trimming trees in Ohio

OHIO — A man was reportedly electrocuted Thursday morning while trimming trees in Shelby County, authorities said.

The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office said dispatchers received a call at 10:07 a.m. regarding an incident on the 15000 block of Meranda Road in Anna.

Officials said the man was working in a bucket truck when he came into contact with electrical lines and was electrocuted.

CareFlight has been called to transport the man, according to dispatchers. The extent of his injuries has not been released.
