
WISCONSIN — Authorities are investigating the deaths of two men in Wisconsin Rapids overnight.
The first incident occurred around 1 a.m. when a 34-year-old man was dropped off at the Aspirus Wisconsin Rapids Emergency Room with life-threatening injuries. He later died while receiving treatment.
While investigating that incident, officers were called to a disturbance on 11th Street South, where they found a 56-year-old man with life-threatening injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No further details have been released. Police said they have collected preliminary evidence and are interviewing witnesses. No arrests have been made, and authorities say there is no ongoing danger to the public.
