TENNESSEE — Believe it or not, but snowfall is possible in Tennessee on Halloween this Friday.
According to the latest NAM model run as of Thursday evening, high elevations in Tennessee could see over an inch of snow come Friday night.
The map below shows the exact locations where snowfall is expected.

The model is currently showing 1.2 inches of snow by Friday night for the peaks of the Smoky Mountains between Gatlinburg and Smokemont.
This is not a forecast but simply the latest run of a model.
Although most areas of Tennessee and nearby North Carolina won’t see any snow on the ground, don’t be surprised to see some flakes flying in the air Friday.
Temperatures will get into the 30s Friday night.
