OHIO — The Macedonia Fire Department is mourning the loss of Lisa Morris, wife of FireMedic Dave Morris, who was killed in a crash while on an ATV trip in West Virginia, according to Fire Chief Brian Ripley.
Chief Ripley said the accident happened Friday evening. Dave Morris suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and has since been transferred to a Cleveland hospital for treatment.
Ripley described Morris as a dedicated and respected member of the department, known for his professionalism and kindness.
“It is with a very heavy heart that I share the tragic news of the passing of Lisa Morris,” Ripley said. “We ask everyone to keep Dave and his family in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this heartbreaking time.”
No additional details about the accident have been released.
