NORTH CAROLINA — A man was killed early Saturday morning after being struck by two vehicles on South Miami Boulevard, according to the Durham Police Department.

While first responders were on the way, Howard was struck a second time by another vehicle that continued north on South Miami Boulevard and fled the scene. Howard was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators said there is no indication that impairment was a factor in the crash. No arrests have been made.
