
FLORIDA — The Florida Highway Patrol is searching for a driver who fled the scene of a hit-and-run crash that left two people critically injured early Saturday morning.
According to FHP, the crash occurred around 12:17 a.m. on State Road 520 near Clearlake Road. Investigators said a gray sedan and a 2010 Harley-Davidson motorcycle collided, and the sedan left the scene.
The motorcycle’s rider, a 55-year-old man from Cocoa, and his passenger, a 54-year-old woman from Merritt Island, were both transported to Holmes Regional Medical Center in critical condition.
Troopers believe the suspect vehicle may be a gray Hyundai sedan with heavy front-end damage, possibly missing its front grill, fog lights, and part of the front bumper.
