OHIO — At least one person is dead following a pedestrian crash early Friday morning in Trotwood.
Emergency crews were called to the intersection of State Route 49 and West Third Street around 4:49 a.m. after reports that a person had been struck by a vehicle, according to a Montgomery County Regional Dispatch sergeant.
The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office confirmed it responded to the scene of the crash.
State Route 49 northbound was temporarily closed while crews investigated but has since reopened.
No additional details about the victim or the vehicle involved have been released as the investigation continues.
