PENNSYLVANIA — A man was killed Monday evening in a head-on crash in Cherryhill Township, according to the Indiana County Coroner’s Office.
Officials said 43-year-old William Lee Houseknecht was driving on Route 403 Highway North near Spalding Road when his vehicle collided head-on with another.
Houseknecht was trapped inside his car and was not wearing a seatbelt, the coroner’s office said. He was taken to a hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Pennsylvania State Police responded to the scene along with Citizens’ Ambulance Service and fire departments from Cherryhill, Clymer, Pine Township, and Commodore.
The crash remains under investigation.
