FLORIDA — The Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide after a man was found dead inside a vehicle early Sunday morning.
Deputies said they received a 911 call reporting an unresponsive man inside a vehicle at the Debbie Park Trailer Park on the 400 block of NE 31st Terrace. When deputies and emergency medical personnel arrived, they found 40-year-old Santos Gaucin of Okeechobee dead inside the vehicle.
According to investigators, a resident noticed the vehicle had crashed and discovered Gaucin unresponsive and bleeding before calling 911. Authorities said Gaucin suffered an apparent gunshot wound.
